Using various media, from painting to photography to sculpture, Middle Eastern artists create complex, rhythmic compositions using a range of inspiration, from Western expressionism to traditional calligraphy.


Our upcoming sale Middle Eastern Art: Curves and Lines will highlight artistic trends in abstraction among the region's artists. We are seeking both modern and contemporary works in a variety of media by Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian, Sonia Balassanian, Etel Adnan, Samia Halaby, Khaled Jarrar, Ali Banisadr, Farhad Moshiri, Afruz Amighi, Ali Shirazi, Athier Mousawi, and Charles Hossein Zenderoudi, among others.
