Christopher Makos on How Andy Warhol Created the First Social Media Platform

 
 
 

Photographer and artist Christopher Makos's world collided with Andy Warhol's at a dinner party in 1976. Andy was intrigued by Makos's use of the 35mm camera, his ability to compose a shot, and his knack for being aware of the perfect picture about to happen. Makos, for his part, became close friends with Warhol gaining footing in Warhol's inner circle and even accompanying the artist on his travels and social outings.
